The Enduring Legacy of Cynthia Woods Mitchell at 101

The Cynthia and George Mitchell Foundation celebrates the 101st anniversary of the birth of Cynthia Woods Mitchell, presenting an opportunity to reflect on her contributions to her family and foundation and the remarkable life and legacy of a Texas icon, lover of the arts, and philanthropist.

She was born in New York on September 24, 1922 and passed away in The Woodlands, Texas on December 27, 2009, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.
